Andrew Gifford has over thirty years’ experience in politics and public affairs.


Before joining Trust Estates he founded GJW Government Relations, the top European public affairs company and also co-founded the publishing company, 4th Estate. He was a founder director of Heritage Oil and a director of a number of investment trusts.


Andrew has wide experience of political and regulatory issues at UK and international levels. He has advised on private legislation including the Channel Tunnel, Crossrail, Dartford Crossing and Canary Wharf. He has also advised on many international mergers and acquisitions and has advised countries on international treaties and protocols.
